When you receive e-mail, you are at a potential risk of receiving a computer virus. Here are the following ways to determine if you may be receiving a virus:
Executable E-mail Attachments
E-mail from individuals that you may not know
Multiple E-mails from the same individual at the exact same date and time.
Non-Commercial Web Formatted E-mails

There are other methods as well, but those are the most common ones. Some viruses will load upon viewing the e-mail, so it is wise to turn the preview pane off of your e-mail software and delete any e-mails that are suspicious.
Please note that the individual who sent you the virus, may have no clue they sent it to you. We advise you let them know nicely that they have a virus and then advise them to clean it as soon as possible.
